Mission to Mars
After a seven-month journey, NASA’s “Perseverance” rover successfullylanded on Marsand sent its first image of the red planet’s surface. The purpose of the mission is to find confirmation of what the two previous Martian missions of the US agency, Curiosity and Opportunity, had suggested: billions of years ago Mars was a humid planet and with conditions potentially suitable for life. The rover’s destination, after the most difficult landing ever attempted on the planet’s soil, was the Jezero crater, which scientists believe was a lake in the distant past. POLISTUC has decided to celebrate the historical news by baptizing the color “PERSEVERANCE” and proposing a combination with a metallic champagne topcoat that we believe can express a beautiful image of a Martian sunset.
